The Johnson Viking Ranger II is a favorite Choice as well, It was aquired from my good friend Ron W9EOA which Ron was the second Owner of this Beauty. It is all Original.

The Ranger II is set up with Out Board Audio using a 100 watt Hammond Transformer with 5000 ohm Center Tap and I am Using a 75 watt External Audio Amplifier Tapped on the 8 ohm side of the The 100 watt Hammond Audio Transformer which Ties into the Back of the Ranger II and Bypasses the Internal Audio Circuit of the Ranger II Giving me Better Audio Response. You Can Hear the Diffrence Just take a Listen to the Audio File Below to hear the Difference.. The Ranger II is Driving a Heathkit SB-220 Amplifier which uses a pair of 3-500 tubes and Produces 125 watts of Carrier with the Ranger II..
